  Monday 26th September Sitemaps: A sitemap is a list of pages of a website. Sitemaps are used by the website designers to help plan out the website. It provides information shortage pages, videos and other files on your website. key conventions of a sitemap -the home page is at the top.  -the lines indicate the links between each tab. -the function to log in/sign up -tabs and sub tabs. wireframes: This is the website layout. It helps the desingners have a layout of the page inn their heads before doing all the codeing. Its a drawing of the pages interface that mainly focuses on the space avaliable on the page. Thursday 22nd September Different pre production documents: Call sheet    - A call sheet is a sheet with all the information the cast and crew members to know what tie they start and where they need to be for each scene.  Script    -The script is what the actors need to memorise all their lines for each scene. And is all the dialogue in the whole movie or episode. Storyboard (photo of sketch)    - Helps you visually see the scene before acting it out. Helps the director decide where the camera cuts into a a different angle. Budget sheet    -Needed to keep the movie in the budget you were given by the production company. The budget is used on things like the equipment needed, props, location and sone other things needed. Contingency plan (back up plan)    - The backup plan just in case its needed. To be informed, educated, entertained and to promote and advertise.  The purposes of the media Is to allow have something in common to communicate about and to entertain an escape from their daily problems. Entertain: Gaining the attention of the audience so that they relax and enjoy the activity. Educate/Inform: Providing facts about a topic of answering a question. Informing is providing information whereas educating is teaching the audience consumer. Advertise/Promote: Raising the awareness of a product in potential consumers. Trying to increase the popularity of a brand and persuade customers to engage or purchase it.
